Some words just run out of gas. Today’s nomination in this category – innovation. Too many leaders, too many organizations, like to say they are innovative but do little to demonstrate they are making changes that increase impact.
What changes for you if you park the word “innovative” and replace it with “daring?” How will you and your team act when “daring” is a collective value? How will “daring” cause you to talk differently, plan differently, serve customers differently, create products and services differently, market differently, etc., etc., etc.? Do you dare?
