I hope most of us are smart enough to have a backup system for our computer and other electronic data. I wonder if we even consider backing up our human data the same way. Often the most critical information about how things really work walks out the door every night at 5pm.

Question:

How do you back up what you know so that your capability is available to the organization if you aren’t? What systems do you have in place – for yourself, for other critical team members? When will you have a serious planning conversation about this important gap?
