We’ve changed our government. There is no question change breeds uncertainty. I’ll give them a while to show how they will write Canada’s next chapter. I guess it’s safe to say I’m hopeful; I’m not yet ready to say I’m optimistic. Think about those words: hope is the “feeling that something wanted might happen” and optimism is “being confident of the future or success of something.”


Today, bring these words to the micro level — what’s ahead for your organization where your stakeholders are “hopeful?” What must change to move them to “optimistic” by year’s end? Specifically, what will you start doing, what will you stop doing, to create that confidence?
