Dan Pallotta (non-profit thought leader and author of Uncharitable) was in Calgary this past week for a couple of events. He got me again with this line, “If you prohibit failure, you kill innovation.” So right….innovation comes from taking risks; risk, by definition, means some things don’t work out.

Do you accept or prohibit failure in your search for innovation? Do your key people have permission to fail? Do they know it? Do they believe it? Do they act as if they do? Do you?
