Sing along with me (and the Beatles): “Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.” That may be true but those poetic words don’t work as strategy. Focussing today on returning to yesterday will not yield a better tomorrow.

What makes you think you’ll be better able to make meaningful change some other time? Leadership is refined and defined in the fires of tough times; do your people, your clients, your industry see a leader with the courage to create a new future?”
