I’ve been saying this for years. Leaders, plan your vacation strategically. Be very intentional about clearly delegating the things you don’t want to do anymore. Just don’t tell your people it’s forever.

Question:

What specific things will you delegate when you leave for vacation that you have no intention of taking back? Upon your return, how will you communicate that you have increased faith in your employee’s ability to perform at this higher level?
