We talk to key people about their specific role. We provide each one with a job description. We offer resources, supports, motivation, correction, focus. But… can we declare for each of them, “This is what must happen for me to consider you successful”?

Question:

Specifically, what does success look like for each of your direct reports? What must you do this week to ensure that YOU have clarity on this? Then, how will you say it, resource it, monitor it, encourage it, reward it? Simply, how successful will you make your people this year and how will you both know it?
