Sometimes the words just appear. In talking with a leadership team the other day about their role, these words danced together: “Your job is not fire-fighting, your job is fire-lighting!”

Question:

What fires are you trying to light? What people are you trying to inspire, empower, encourage and support? How will you ensure you don’t permit “fire-fighting” to drown out “fire-lighting” this week?
