Who’s the brightest person on your team? Does each of your team members have enough space to show what they really can contribute?
Do all your people have permission to be smart…each one of them? Or…do you hog that territory yourself, or assign it to only one or two others? What specific thing will you do this week to intentionally draw out good thinking and creative ideas from typically less visible team members? How will you listen to them in ways that make them look (and feel) great? What might that mean for the organization?
