Debate. Ask questions. Argue positions. Challenge assumptions. And have great meetings. Nod your head. Agree. Bite your tongue. Check original thinking at the door. And have lousy meetings.

Question:

How will you mine for quality discussion, even conflict, in meetings? How will you assure people they have permission….no….that you EXPECT they will challenge ideas, ask penetrating questions, search relentlessly for insight and clarity? What will you do to make meetings the most energizing and engaging part of your week?
