Are you one of those leaders who talks about the slow pace of progress in their business? If I asked you one or two questions, would you admit you have too many windows open in your mind to do anything with great impact? Decades ago, Napoleon Hill (in the great but very poorly titled book Think and Grow Rich) wrote his principles for personal and professional success. One that somehow slides down our list is – Controlled Attention.

Question:

What’s the one thing that, when you see it blossom, will bring you personal fulfillment and organizational success? What’s the critically important thing that seems to get crowded out? Describe the impact if you gave it “controlled attention”….even just for a little while. Try it; how many minutes (hours) will you put your focus there EACH DAY this week? Let me know the results.
