Many leaders tell me can’t figure out why some of their projects go off the rails, why they and their team missed predictable landmines, and why they began courting mediocre expectations even before the initiative was completed. Let’s go back to the beginning.


How will things change when you have a post-mortem meeting BEFORE the project even starts? What will you discuss? Consider things like – what we missed, what traps we had to overcome, what slipped in our performance, etc. And, consider – what will success look like, feel like, what worked, etc. Choose now which wrap-up meeting you will have.
